We had a really good day. It was the hottest day of the year to date and the Castle was stunning from the outside and the interior was as you would expect from a Royal residence – immaculate.
Despite having some difficulty finding a parking space within reasonable walking distance (perhaps some guidance could be given to customers) the stroll was certainly worthwhile.
After the opulence of the Castle we were not disappointed with the afternoon tea in the hotel opposite, which was quiet, cool, efficient and the sandwiches and scones were delicious. Thank you for providing this facility and to my colleagues for buying the gift day on my retirement.
